In the second quarter of 2023, the wellness app category in Germany saw varying performance trends across the top 5 apps on the Android platform. Here's a closer look at the weekly downloads, revenue, and active users for each app, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Headspace: Meditation & Sleep experienced fluctuations in its weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $16K in mid-April and ending the quarter around $11K. Downloads for the app showed a gradual decline, starting at 3.7K in late March and stabilizing around 2.2K by the end of June. Active users also saw a decline from 45.9K at the beginning of the quarter to 38.8K by the end.

Calm - Sleep, Meditate, Relax had a consistent revenue stream, with a peak of about $10K in early April, tapering off to around $6.6K by the end of June. Weekly downloads saw a significant drop from 10.9K in late March to 4.2K at the end of the quarter. Active users for Calm fluctuated, starting at 21.5K and reaching 20.1K by the end of June.

7Mind: Meditation reinvented maintained a steady revenue, peaking at approximately $7.6K in mid-May and ending June with around $6K.
